The Benedictine Golf Center was established in the fall of 2012 and is housed in the Dan and Ada Rice Center.

This new 1,600 square foot state-of-the-art facility features two Sportsman model golf simulation units from Full Swing Golf.  Each simulation unit has custom hitting to simulate fairway, rough and sand conditions. The simulation units allow the golfer to experience an interactive practice facility and more than 100 selected PGA courses. Adjacent to the golf simulators is a 1,000 square foot putting and chipping surface. Included in the facility will be the latest video and swing analysis software.

The Golf Center was made possible through a leadership gift from William Bartlett, President / Owner of Corporate Strategies and Solutions Inc., of Naperville. “It didn't seem fair that our golf team was relegated to practicing at an off-site location,” Bartlett said. “My wife Gayle and I believe in investing in young adults and our golf center contribution certainly reflects our philosophy. The game of golf is a sport that can be played throughout a student's entire lifetime, and its values and teachings are applicable and transferable to many things in life.”A donor wall will be placed in the facility to recognize all those who have supported this project

“The Golf Center is another way that the University is proving that they are committed to excellence,” said head coach Frank Janczak. “This new facility will not only improve the performance of our current men's and women's golf student-athletes, but also give us an extra edge in recruiting.”
