Ellis joined Benedictine in the spring of 2020 as a defensive backs coach for the 2020 campaign.
Ellis arrived in Lisle after two seasons on the coaching staff at Millikin University in Decatur, Ill. Ellis spent two years working with the defensive backs and added the title of special teams coordinator in 2019. Ellis also served as the head video coordinator and head travel coordinator.
A native of Houston, Texas, Ellis played at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. and played on a conference championship team in 2013, starting every game as a junior and a senior in the secondary before spending one year on the coaching staff.
