Lynch, a native of Iowa, begins his first season at Benedictine University in 2015.
An Independence, Iowa native, Lynch has been coaching since 2011, where he served as an assistant at Independence High School until taking over as head coach in 2012. In those five seasons, he obtained a 62-34 record while helping guide Independence to the state quarterfinals for the first time in school history in 2011 and conference championships in 2011 and 2013. Aside from being regional finalists in 2011, 2013, and 2015, Lynch has already coached 35 all-conference athletes, as well as three all-state players in his career.
Lynch also currently coaches for the Tri-Cities Soccer Association soccer club. Prior to Benedictine and Independence, Bobby also served as co-head coordinator of Tiny Tots Soccer in Independence, Iowa since 2010 and spent the past five years coaching multiple camps there as well.
Bobby graduated from Upper Iowa University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Sports Studies.
