This will be Adar’s first year working as an athletic trainer at Benedictine University working with Women’s Volleyball, Men’s Basketball, and Baseball. Prior to coming to Benedictine University, he served as an athletic trainer at Hoffman Estates High School, Schaumburg High School, and Homewood Flossmoor High School.
Adar attained his bachelor degree in the summer of 2013 at Robert Morris University in Exercise Science where he played collegiate hockey as well, he then attained his masters degree at the University of Minnesota with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning in the summer of 2015, he then went back to school to attain his masters degree at Aurora University in Athletic training in the summer 2023. Some of his clinical rotations and internships were at the outreach setting and Collegiate Division 1 and 3 levels.
Adar is a certified athletic trainer through the BOC, and attains a Licensure through the state of Illinois to practice as a certified athletic trainer. Some additional certifications that he holds are: SFMA level 1 and 2, FMS level 1, and Hawk grips level 1 and 2 IASTM.
Outside of Athletic training you are most likely to find Adar playing and watching hockey, working out, reading books , and watching movies.
