CHICAGO, Ill. - The Benedictine University volleyball team was swept in a non-conference match at the University of Chicago, 3-0, by scores of 25-21, 26-24 and 25-12. The loss dropped the Eagles to 7-12 overall.
Kayla Leyden led Benedictine with 14 digs, but was limited to seven kills for the evening.
Celia Porod added five kills.

Jackie Rust had 10 digs and freshman teammate Miranda Brannon had two solo blocks in the loss.
The Eagles will next be in action on Saturday at Dominican University. The match is slated for a 1:00 p.m. start in River Forest.
