RIVER FOREST, Ill. - Benedictine University rode a 22-kill performance from junior Kayla Leyden to a 3-1 victory over Dominican University in a Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) match.  The Eagles improved to 8-12 overall and 4-1 in the NAC with the 25-18, 25-18, 18-25, 25-20 victory.

Leyden had the match-high kills total, with just three errors, in 48 attempts. For the match, Leyden had an attack average of .396. Leyden also added 14 digs on the defensive side of the net.

Freshman teammate Alex Porter had what was argueably the best match of her youn BU career with 11 kills and one error in 23 attempts (a .435 attack average). She also had 10 digs.

Sarah Porod and Miranda Brannan each contributed seven kills. Brannan also had a pair of aces in the match.

Junior libero Jackie Rust topped the Eagles with 21 digs.  Megan Kmieciak dug 11 balls and kara Zuro had nine, along with eight assists.

Senior Jessica Judge had 21 assists and sophomore Taylor Hoppe gave off12 "helps."
