The Benedictine men's soccer team battled NAIA foe University of St. Francis, but were the victims of a penalty kick goal in a 1-0 non-conference road loss on Wednesday. The Eagles fell to 3-3 overall.

The Saints booked the lone score of the day in the 42nd minute of play after the Eagles had committed a foul in the box. USF's Luke Zeller made the penalty back attempt, beating BU net-minder Jim Hanley.

On the day, Hanley had an impressive 13 saves in keeping his team in the match, despite being out-shot by the Saints, 22-11.

The physical match had a total of 39 fouls (20 for USF) and seven yellow cards issued.
