MADISON, Wis. - The Benedictine men's soccer squad found the going rough at Edgewood College on Saturday, suffering a 2-0 shutout. The Eagles fell to 3-4 overall and are 0-2 in the Northern Athletics Conference.

EC held statistical domination in the match, out-shooting BU by a 16-5 margin. No Benedictine player had more than one shot attempt in the match.

Benedictine goalkeeper Jim Hanley had seven saves in 80  minutes of work. Newcomer Orlando Esparza turned in 10 shutout minutes to close the match.
