LISLE, Ill. – The Benedictine University women's volleyball team swept Milwaukee School of Engineering in Northern Athletics Conference action on Wednesday night at the Dan and Ada Rice Center.

The win moved the Eagles to 18-6 overall and 7-2 in conference action while the loss dropped MSOE to 9-16 on the year and 3-6 in the NAC.

The Raiders held Benedictine close in the first set, but the Eagles pulled away with a 25-21 victory. MSOE took a 7-3 lead in set two before Kayla Leyden delivered two service aces to rally the Eagles back and take the set 25-23. Benedictine took a 7-0 lead in the third game and never looked back, defeating the Raiders 25-18 to win the match. 

Leyden tallied another double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs and also had three aces while Jackie Rust led all players with 15 digs. Kara Zuro and Taylor Hoppe combined for 38 assists while Brooke Bowman had four block assists. 

The Raiders were led by Stephanie Hasler who had eight kills and four aces and Kathy Collingbourne with 14 digs. 

The women's volleyball team is back in action on Tuesday, October 19 when they host Rockford at 7:00 pm at the Rice Center.
