LISLE, Ill. – The women's volleyball team's 12-game winning streak was snapped by Dominican University on Saturday afternoon as the Eagles dropped a four-set match to the Stars in Northern Athletics Conference action.

The Eagles dropped the first set 25-18 before rallying back to take set two, 25-21. Dominican then took the next two sets 25-21, 25-15.

Kayla Leyden led all players with 22 kills and also had 16 digs. Jackie Rust had 17 digs for BenU while Meagan Kmieciak registered 12 digs. Kara Zuro and Taylor Hoppe combined for 38 assists.

Benedictine is back in action on Tuesday, October 5 when they travel to Alverno for a 7:00 p.m. NAC contest.
