MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Despite trailing in the first set, the Benedictine University women's volleyball team defeated Alverno College in three straight sets on Tuesday night at the Reiman Gymnasium.
The Inferno (1-15, 0-6 NAC) took a 19-15 lead in the first set, but the Eagles (16-5, 5-1 NAC) came back to win 25-22 and win the next two sets 25-15, 25-20.
Alverno's Chelsea Gulbronson had a game high 12 digs and Morgan Stuckey had six kills.
The Eagles are back in action on Friday, October 8 when they travel to Edgewood for a 7:00 p.m. Northern Athletics Conference match-up.
