LISLE, Ill. – Tonight the Eagles (16-6, 11-3) face off against their rivals from Aurora (14-9, 9-6) in the Dan and Ada Rice Center in a game that could push the BenU men closer to clinching the top seed in the South Division. The game can be viewed live by visiting

Aurora has already clinched the third spot in the South Division and will not be able to pass up the Eagles or the second seed, Milwaukee School of Engineering. This game, however, will clearly be just as important to them as they hope to beat our Eagles for the first time this season.
In the first game against Aurora, in the Thornton Gymnasium about a month ago, BenU pulled off an 89-74 victory as they led for the majority of the game.
Nate Green scored his season high, 29 points, that night on terrific shooting from the field (10-15).
Cameron Snelling is another player to watch for as he continues to average a double-double, scoring 14.7 points a game and grabbing 10.7 rebounds a game. In the Aurora game he tied a season-high 21 rebounds and also added 15 points.
The Eagles as a whole are currently shooting a blistering 46.2 percent from the field. Aurora, however, leads the NAC in defensive field goal percentage, allowing their opponents to shoot only 41.1 percent. They also lead the conference in rebounds, 40 a game, and blocked shots, six a game, and assist to turnover ratio at 1.1.
Although the Eagles are, and will remain, ahead of the Spartans in the South Division, this game will be no easy feat. The tip-off will be at 7:00 pm. Prior to the game, the men's varsity reserve game will begin at 5:00 p.m. Don't forget to wear WHITE!
