CHICAGO, Ill. - The Benedictine University volleyball team wrapped up play at the Gargoyle Classic hosted by the University of Chicago. The Eagles dropped the first match to the host school but defeated Susquehanna in three straight sets.
Against Chicago,
Candice Cuppini had a team high 10 kills while
Kara Zuro led all players with 20 digs.
Meagan Kmieciak tallied 18 digs while Katilin Walsh and
Brooke Bowman combined for 13 kills.
Molly Kovacich led BenU in their victory over Susquehanna with 19 digs while Walsh tallied nine kills.
The Eagles return to Northern Athletics Conference play on Tuesday night when they travel to Concordia University-Wisconsin for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
