MEQUON, Wis. - The Benedictine University volleyball team came from behind after being down two sets to one to defeat Concordia University-Wisconsin, 3-2, on Tuesday night in Northern Athletics Conference action.
The Eagles (9-9, 2-1 NAC) took the first set 25-17 before dropping the next two 25-18, 25-17. The fourth set saw Benedictine tally 13 kills for the 25-15 win and then won a close fifth set, 18-16.
Candice Cuppini led all players with 19 kills while Abby Sattler had her first triple-double of the year with 42 assists, 11 kills and 12 digs.
Molly Kovacich had her fifth double-double of the season with 12 kills and 11 digs while
Kara Zuro had 12 digs.
Concordia's Amanda Stahmann had 13 digs.
The Eagles are back in action on Friday night when they travel to Marian University for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
