FON DU LAC, Wis. - The Benedictine University volleyball team won their third straight match on Friday night as they took three straight sets from Marian University in Northern Athletics Conference action.
The Eagles (10-9, 3-1 NAC) combined for 50 kills in all three sets, beating Marian 26-24, 25-21, 25-22.
Candice Cuppini led the attack for BenU with 16 kills while
Brooke Bowman had eight kills and three aces. Abby Sattler led the team with 40 assists while
Kara Zuro had 15 digs.
Marian (5-14, 3-2 NAC) was led by Liz Zutz with nine kills. As a team, MU had 30 kills and out-dug BenU 42-41.
The Eagles are back in action on Saturday morning when they travel to Lakeland College for an 11:00 a.m. match.
