The Benedictine University volleyball team moved to 7-1 in Northern Athletics Conference action with a 3-0 victory over Maranatha Baptist Bible College on Saturday morning.

The Eagles (20-3, 7-1 NAC) tallied 17 kills for a 25-17 win first set victory. Benedictine took the next two sets easily, 25-16, 25-17 for the win.

Nicole Adams led all players with 15 kills and three block assists. Candice Cuppini had 11 kills and Meagan Kmieciak led the Eagles with 10 digs.

Benedictine held Maranatha's (12-3, 5-3 NAC) Torey DeLozier, who leads the NAC in several offensive categories, to just a .194 hitting percentage (10 kills, 4 errors).

The Eagles are back in action on Wednesday, October 10 when they travel to Concordia University-Chicago for a 7:00 p.m. match.
