LISLE, Ill. - The Benedictine University volleyball team defeated Lakeland College on Saturday afternoon in three sets.

The Eagles (18-2 5-0 NAC) won both the first and second set 25-21 and came from behind in the third set to defeat the Muskies (12-7, 2-3 NAC) 25-21.

Candice Cuppini led all players with 13 kills while Nicole Adams tallied 11 kills and three block assists. Abby Sattler recorded 36 assists and led al players with 15 digs.

Jacki Kaluzny had two aces and three digs while Kara Zuro and Haley Fitzgerald each had six digs.

The Eagles are back in action on Tuesday night when they host Milwaukee School of Engineering at 7:00 p.m. in the Rice Center. Wear PINK to support breast cancer awareness!
