The Benedictine University volleyball team moved to .500 on the season with a 3-0 win over Milwaukee School of Engineering on Friday night.
Benedictine (10-10, 4-0 NACC) was smooth sailing the entire match, winning in straight sets (25-15, 25-18, 25-12).
Candice Cuppini led all players with 13 kills while
Molly Kovacich recorded 11 kills and nine digs. Abby Sattler had five kills and 29 assists in the match. Defensively,
Haley Fitzgerald led BenU with 12 digs while Breanna Hamerlink recorded seven digs.
As a team, Benedictine tallied 39 kills and 59 digs.
The Raiders (5-10, 0-3 NACC) were led by Sarabeth Haworth with eight kills and 11 digs.
The BenU volleyball team is back in action tomorrow, Saturday, October 5 when they host Concordia University-Wisconsin at 2:00 p.m. in the Dan and Ada Rice Center.
