LISLE, Ill. - The Benedictine University women's basketball team beat Dominican University 68-53 on the road Wednesday to secure a slot in the NACC Tourney.
Junior
Meghan Novak dominated the entire first half with 19 points, knocking down seven field goals. Sophomore
Alanna Ferry spread the ball over the court with four assists. Benedictine scored 20 points off of 15 turnovers from Dominican. The Eagles only trailed Dominican one time during the first half, and went into the locker room with a 39-30 lead.
The Eagles came out of the locker room in the second and continued the first half success. Senior
Kam Haifleigh had 10 points and seven rebounds, while
Sierra Dunner had seven rebounds, and Novak scored eight in a solid second half for the Eagles. The Eagles controlled the scoreboard the entire half and Dominican never pulled within eight points.

Meghan Novak with 27 points while
Kam Haifleigh added 12.
Benedictine (10-12, 10-7 NACC) comes back to the Rice Center on Saturday when Lakeland College visits.
