ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Benedictine University women's soccer team finished a weekend trip to St. Louis with an 8-0 loss to the second-ranked team in the nation, Washington University.
The hosts showcased why they are the #2 team in the nation early, scoring three goals in the first 17 minutes. Washington peppered Benedictine with 49 shots in the 90 minutes of action. Benedictine split keepers.
Maddie Frye played the opening half and stopped seven shots.
Amanda Lozada finished the game, halting eight attempts. Three different individuals posted shots for Benedictine with

Danielle Melotte putting shots on goal.
