FOND du LAC, Wis. - Behind a pair of goals in the second half, the Benedictine University women's soccer team will return to the NACC tournament for the first time since 2007 after notching a 2-1 victory over Marian University on the road to officially secure a slot.

• The NACC Tournament opens on November 1 and Benedictine will either be the fourth or fifth seed, facing Aurora

FROM THE COACH
"Credit to Marian," head coach Mike Boland said. "They battled, played inspired, and were tough to play against. With today's win, we clinched a spot in the NACC Tournament. I'm so happy for the team, as they have worked so hard for this. It's nice to have a sense of accomplishment, but our job isnt done yet."
