LISLE, Ill. - The Benedictine University women's soccer team concluded the regular season with a 2-1 home loss to Dominican University on Wednesday.

THE DETAILS
• Dominican quickly grabbed a 1-0 lead, striking in the seventh minute
• Just over eight minutes later Benedictine was able to tie the game, scoring the lone goal
• Taylor Pokorny tallied her 12th goal of the year on a one-touch past the defender to score on a breakaway
• Dominican tallied the game-winner in the 70th minute
• Benedictine did not record a shot in the final 20 minutes

STAT LEADERS
• Dominican held a 19-5 advantage in shots, collecting 10 in the first and nine in the second
• Jackie Elzakhem posted three shots for Benedictine with Pokorny adding two
• Maddie Frye and Amanda Lozada split time in goal
• Frye made five stops with Lozada recording three

Benedictine finished the regular season with a record of 9-8-1 and 6-4 in the NACC, earning the fifth seed in the conference tournament. Benedictine faces fourth-seeded Aurora on the road Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
