After being down two sets, the Benedictine University men's volleyball team took the third set from #11 Massachusetts Institute of Technology to force a fourth set on Friday afternoon in the Dan and Ada Rice Center. The Eagles fell in four sets (21-25, 18-25, 25-21, 14-25).

Benedictine took an early lead in the second set but let the Engineers climb back to go up 20-12. The Eagles went on a 6-2 run that put them within four but the MIT offense was too strong, winning 25-18.
The Eagles took a third set lead and never looked back, going up 11-6 with a
Markus Riemer ace. The Engineers threatened with a 4-1 run but the Eagles soared after a Moran kill, winning 25-21.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology allowed BenU to tally just four kills in the fourth set, going up by as many as 11 and wining 25-14.
