#6 Men's Hoops Blisters Past Dominican

LISLE, Ill. - The sixth-ranked Benedictine University men's basketball team shot a blistering 71.7 percent from the floor in notching a season high point total during the 13th win of the season, a 110-78 victory over Dominican University at home.

Dominican was able to hang with Benedictine at the start of the contest despite hot shooting as the teams traded the lead
• Matt Chaltin connected on a three-pointer at the 11:51 mark to hand Benedictine an 18-16 lead
• Benedictine did not trail again the remainder of the night
• Tahron Harvey made a layup with 6:02 remaining in the first half to open a 14-0 run, capped on a three from Michael Blaszczyk with 3:35 left in the first, handing Benedictine a 45-27 lead
• John Dodson made a 35-foot shot at the buzzer to make the score 54-31 at the half
• Benedictine went on to lead by as many as 42 in the second half, using a complete effort to score the largest win of the year
• With a loss by top-ranked Augustana, Benedictine is one of just six unbeatens left in the nation

• Harvey tallied 17 with a season high eight assists and five rebounds while Tim Reamer struck for 16 off the bench with four assists, making all eight attempts from the field
• Blaszczyk rounded out the double-digit scorers by notching 13
• Benedictine drained 10 three-pointers in the contest and scored 62 points in the paint while receiving 48 points from the bench
