RIVER FOREST, IL - The Benedictine University men's soccer team, ranked seventh in the region, tallied a sixth consecutive victory, shutting out Concordia University Chicago on the road.

THE DETAILS
• The start of the game was delayed by 30 minutes due to weather and played in rain throughout
• Benedictine served as the aggressor for most of the contest
• As he has in every victory this season,
Nick Kapetanos tallied the game-winner
• After being denied in the 25th minute, the junior created space for himself in the 29th minute to open the scoring
• The goal marked the 18th of the season for Kapetanos, matching a career high total set in 2014
• The tally marked the only goal of the opening 45 minutes
• Following an early flurry in the second half,
Francisco Delgado notched his first goal of the season in the 52nd minute to pad the advantage
• Kapetanos provided a helper on the goal, allowing for a tap-in
• Benedictine is now unbeaten in nine consecutive contests
• The victory moved Benedictine to 6-0 in the NACC
• The shutout was the sixth of the season

"We definitely could have added a few more to the scoring column today," said head coach
Attila Schmidt. "Credit to Concordia Chicago as the goalie played outstanding. We were able to do a very good job of keeping zero in the backfield."
