LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's soccer team shut out an opponent for the fifth time this season, again reaching the .500 mark for the season with a 4-0 decision over visiting Alverno College.

• Benedictine tallied two goals in each half
• Despite setting the pace early, it took until the 35th minute to score

• Similar issues happened in the second half with Alverno packing the box defensively
• Graham blasted a free kick into the net from 40 yards out in the 70th minute
• Danielle Melotte finished the scoring in the 87th minute on a counter attack
FROM THE COACH
"It was good to get another three points as we head into the final stretch," said head coach
Mike Boland. "It's going to be an interesting fight and finish to the regular season. We had a ton of the ball, but we would have liked to see a bit more end product in the final attacking third for how much possession we enjoyed."
