MEQUON, WI - The Benedictine University men's soccer team tallied a third consecutive shutout by notching a 1-0 win at the defending NACC Champion, regionally ranked Concordia University Wisconsin.

THE DETAILS
• Both teams were able to create opportunities but the backlines rose to the occasion
• Erik Stammer was stopped in the sixth minute of the contest
• Antonio Marti-Polo came up with saves in the 11th and 16th minute
• Nick Kapetanos made the most of a chance in the 65th minute for the lone goal of the afternoon
• The strike came on a volley from a Stammer feed from 15 yards out
• Marti-Polo recorded a pair of saves to preserve the shutout
• The final save came in the 86th minute
• Concordia Wisconsin was ranked ninth in the region and the preseason favorite in the NACC
• Benedictine has won four consecutive contests on the road and has not lost a match since a 2-1 overtime defeat on September 10
