LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's soccer team battled the defending conference champion and preseason favorite Concordia University Wisconsin to a 2-2 draw on Wednesday night.

• Benedictine scored on the very first venture up the field
• Kayleigh Sommer lobbed home a cross from 15 yards out that floated into the net at the two minute mark

"It stings to concede a late goal with less than five minutes to go," said head coach
Mike Boland. "However, I was very happy to see the resolve of the group after giving up each goal. Â The fight of our group was great, both mentally and physically."
