MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University women's soccer team produced a positive result for the fourth consecutive contest, reaching the .500 mark for the season after tallying a road shutout over Wisconsin Lutheran.

• Benedictine created chances early with
Abbie Graham and
Megan Anderson missing left in the opening five minutes of action
• Cassidy Henson recorded a pair of stops to keep the game scoreless
• Sammie Sarles headed home a feed from
Taylor Pokorny in the 20th minute to open the scoring
• The goal marked the second of the year for Sarles and was the lone first half tally despite continued attacks
• Anderson extended the margin to 2-0 in the 48th minute after a couple of early opportunities
• Kayleigh Sommer provided the helper on Anderson's strike
• Henson and the defense preserved the blank sheet the rest of the way
