#6 Men's Hoops Rallies From Down 20 in Home Opening Loss

LISLE, IL - The sixth-ranked Benedictine University men's basketball team rallied from down 20 in the second half by dropped a 71-70 contest to #4 St. Norbert College in the home opener on Saturday night.

The loss stopped a stretch of 31 consecutive regular season victories for Benedictine
• Kenny Bogus connected on a three-pointer at the 11:04 mark of the first half to bring Benedictine within 13-12
• The field goal marked the first as a college player for Bogus
• St. Norbert responded by using a 16-2 run to open a 29-15 advantage with 7:10 left in the first
• The lead swelled to 17 at 43-26 before a layup from Adam Reynolds produced the halftime deficit of 43-28
• The visitors led 52-32 with 16:34 remaining in the game
• Benedictine used 10 straight to pull within 52-42 on a three from Brayden Olson with 14:23 to play
• St. Norbert still led by 10 at 68-58 with 4:04 left despite several rallies from Benedictine

• Tahron Harvey missed a three-pointer for the win as time expired
