MILWAUKEE, WI - The 14th-ranked Benedictine University men's basketball team posted a fourth straight victory, moving to 3-0 in the NACC with a road win over MSOE.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine chased an early deficit, falling behind by six points on a pair of occasions in the opening five minutes
• Kenny Bogus tied the game at 13 with a three-pointer at the 12:48 mark
• The game stayed close in the opening 20 minutes of play before an 11-0 run for Benedictine pushed the lead to double figures
• Adam Reynolds opened the run with a layup and Bogus drained another three-pointer with 1:43 left in the half to make the score 30-18
• Benedictine never pulled away in the second half as MSOE hung around

Michael Blaszczyk pushed the lead to 41-29 just over three minutes into the second
• Leading 44-37 with 14:03 to go, Benedictine embarked on another 11-0 run to jump ahead 55-37
• Four different individuals scored during the stretch, which was capped by a bucket from
Eric Grygo past the mind-point of the half
• MSOE pulled within 57-48 following a pair of free throws with 5:54 remaining, but a 9-0 spurt finished by a
Brayden Olson layup quickly provided distance
• Olson connected on a three-pointer with 1:41 left to account for the final, the largest margin of the game
• Benedictine has now won 28 consecutive regular season conference games
• The 52 points allowed marked the fewest in a game against Benedictine this season

"We came out a little sluggish and settled for some shots early," head coach
Keith Bunkenburg said. "I thought we defended well but did not finish. We got outrebounded and we pride ourselves on that. Give MSOE credit, I felt at times they played harder than us, and that can't happen either."

• For the first time this season, Benedictine utilized a different starting lineup
• Three players reached double figures led by Harvey, who notched 16 with four rebounds and four assists
• Blaszczyk tallied a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds
