LISLE, Ill. - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team opened play in the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference with a win over Beloit College.

THE DETAILS
• Beloit scored the first goal of the game but did not lead again
• Taylor Adams tied the score on a free position shot with 23:23 to play in the first half
• Ella Campbell handed Benedictine a 2-1 lead on a feed from
Madison Horan less than a minute later
• After Beloit tied the score, Horan scored again with 13 minutes left to give Benedictine the lead for good
• Benedictine led 6-4 at the half and picked up the first three goals of the second half to open a 9-4 edge and not look back

• Benedictine also held leads in draw controls, groundballs, and saves while completing 14-of-16 clears successfully
• Samantha Link led Benedictine with four goals on 11 shots
• Six different individuals scored goals for Benedictine
