WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - The Benedictine University baseball team broke a three-game slide in Florida by posting some big innings in the middle of the contest en route to scoring a season high 14 runs in a spring break win over St. Norbert College.

• St. Norbert tallied three first-inning runs against Benedictine starter 
Frank Greco to open the early advantage
• Benedictine went on to score nine unanswered runs to seize control
• The rally opened with a single run in the third inning
• Chayancze Stirbis opened the scoring with the first of five RBIs in the third inning
• Four runs in the fourth inning allowed Benedictine to grab the lead
• Stirbis singled home a pair and 
Brandon Gipson added an RBI single in the frame
• Four more runs scored in the fifth
• Tanner Kiser led off the inning with a triple and scored on a single from 
Kyle Bock• Stirbis notched another two-run single and 
Nick Severino added to the offense with an RBI single
• Nicholas Quick collected an RBI single in the sixth and

• Benedictine racked up 17 hits and used 21 players in the decision
