AURORA, N.Y. - The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team opened a weekend stint in New York with a resounding victory over Wells College.

• Benedictine did not trail in the game, using back-to-back tallies less than a minute apart to take a 2-0 lead early
• Matthew Johnson scored the first goal while Tony DePinto added the second
