Antonio Marti-Polo was solid in the net all night, only surrendering one goal

• Both teams struggled to put any scoring together in the second half and neither teams could find the net in either of the overtime periods

"This was a fantastic final test for us as we now head into conference play this weekend," said head coach
Attila Schmidt. "The late second half red card was also a great opportunity for us to deal with a little unexpected adversity and find a way as a group to preserve the 1-1 score line."
