Box Score LISLE, IL – Nick Kapetanos netted the Eagles lone goal of the match during the first half as the Benedictine University men's soccer team tied Wheaton College 1-1 on Wednesday night.

THE DETAILS
• Nick Kapetanos scored the only goal for the Eagles on a header in the 19^th minute
• Santiago Beltran provided the assist on the Kapetanos goal
• Antonio Marti-Polo was solid in the net all night, only surrendering one goal
• Wheaton also scored on a header after a scramble in the 23^rd minute
• Both teams struggled to put any scoring together in the second half and neither teams could find the net in either of the overtime periods
• Both teams tallied three shots each in the two overtimes

"This was a fantastic final test for us as we now head into conference play this weekend," said head coach Attila Schmidt. "The late second half red card was also a great opportunity for us to deal with a little unexpected adversity and find a way as a group to preserve the 1-1 score line."
