• Both teams played stout defense throughout the contest
• Taylor Pokorny produced back-to-back shots 20 seconds apart late in the first but could not score
• Ashley Steadman was denied just moments later
• Both teams continued to deny chances into the second half
• Cassidy Henson made a save in the 85th minute to preserve the scoreless affair headed to overtime
• Kayleigh Sommer had a chance early in overtime but could not strike
• Danielle Melotte attempted a shot with her left foot in the middle of the second overtime but was halted

"We are excited to get the road point, but not content with the result," head coach
Mike Boland said. "We put ourselves in a good spot to get the result with our team defensive effort. We just have to get things going a bit on the attacking side. Every game is going to be tight in conference play from here on out as we fight to return to the conference tourney."
