MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University men's soccer team capped the regular season with a sixth consecutive victory.

Benedictine 6, Wisconsin Lutheran 1
• Benedictine exploded for five first half goals including three in the first 14 minutes
• Erik Stammer opened the scoring in the seventh minute, converting on the first Benedictine chance
• Lukasz Sulka set up the play, which saw Stammer score on the right side
• Stammer returned the favor in the 12th minute, setting up Sulka to make the score 2-0
• Just over two minutes later Stammer helped Sulka strike again to stretch the lead to 3-0
• Carlos Gallardo provided an additional helper
• Stammer's second of the game in the 20th minute pushed the lead to 4-0 on a helper from
Santiago Beltran
• Beltran helped finish the first half outburst in the 24th minute by sending a cross that was headed in by Sulka for his third of the half
• Drew Schmucker scored the final goal on a penalty kick in the 54th minute
• Benedictine held a 33-16 advantage in shots, putting 22 on goal
• Benedictine also posted nine corner kicks
• Sulka finished with three goals and an assist while Stammer notched two goals and two assists
• Beltran tallied two assists
• Sulka led the attack with seven shots
• Antonio Marti Polo played the first half in goal while
Leo Rodriguez and
Shawn Chervets split the second
• Chervets finished with four saves

Benedictine (13-5, 8-2 NACC) will be the three seed in the NACC Tournament and will host sixth-seeded Marian on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m.
