LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's soccer team wrapped up a slot in the NACC Tournament and tallied a fifth conference shutout win in the regular season finale.

Benedictine 4, Wisconsin Lutheran 0
• After creating chances early, Benedictine scored two quick goals to seize control
• Kayleigh Sommer banked home a shot off a defender into the back of the net in the 10th minute on a pass from
Abbie Graham
• Just over a minute later Sommer helped Graham to score by sending a cross that was headed home
• Cassidy Henson was tested in the 19th minute but came up with back-to-back saves
• Leading 2-0 at the half, Benedictine took advantage of the first chance in the second half to extend the advantage
• Holly Ward converted on a short pass from
Danielle Melotte to send a roller past the keeper
• The final tally came when
Katy Fredericksen chipped home a centering pass from Graham in the 78th minute
• The goals from Sommer and Fredericksen marked the first of the season and the first of the career for Fredericksen
• All five wins for Benedictine this season have come in shutout fashion
• Benedictine held a 13-5 edge in shots with nine on target
• Sommer finished with four shots including three on goal
• Megan Anderson notched a pair of attempts
• Henson finished with three saves between the pipes

Benedictine (5-12-1, 5-4-1 NACC) will play on the road at third-seeded Aurora on Sunday night in the NACC Tournament at 5:00 p.m. as the sixth seed
