RIVER FOREST, IL - The Benedictine University women's soccer team battled the NACC leaders to a draw on the road Wednesday afternoon.

• Dominican controlled the first half but could not find the back of the net until late in the first 45
• A strong sequence over the final 10 minutes resulted in the lone Dominican goal in the final minute
• Following a foul, a failed clear enabled Dominican to grab a 1-0 lead
• Benedictine settled down and started to create chances in the second half after being outshot 12-2 in the first
• Moments after missing wide,
Abbie Graham completed a counter with a sliding shot to the far post in the 63rd minute to tie the game
• Dominican notched the final three shots of regulation including two in the final minute but could not break the deadlock
• Sabie Ramirez notched the first chance of extra-time, missing wide in the 95th minute
• Dominican missed wide in the last minute of the second extra session
• Dominican is unbeaten and ranked fifth in the region
• Dominican finished the match with a 23-7 edge in shots
• Eight of the shots were on goal while Benedictine placed three on target
• Stephanie Nichols notched two shots for Benedictine
• Cassidy Henson halted six shots between the pipes
