LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's soccer team scored a third conference shutout with a senior night win over Lakeland University on Saturday night.

Benedictine 3, Lakeland 0
• It did not take long for Benedictine to take the lead
• Controlling possession for most of the game, 
Jaci Bridgers opened the scoring by finding the back of the net in the fourth minute
• Just over four minutes later 
Sabie Ramirez drove home a feed from 
Danielle Melotte to make the score 2-0
• Melotte scored herself in the 20th minute on a pass from 
Megan Anderson to account for all the scoring
• The senior class was honored at the half with Anderson, Bridgers, 
Emily Cook, 
Janae Heaney, 
Shelby Hernandez, 
Anna Malone, Melotte, 
Taylor Pokorny and 
Miki Winkler receiving recognition
• Benedictine did not score in the second half but did put together 15 shots
• Benedictine is unbeaten in the last three matches and owns three shutouts in conference play
• Benedictine held a 28-2 advantage in shots
• 17 of the shots were on target
• Winkler, Ramirez and 
Holly Ward all notched three shots
• 16 individuals posted shots in the win
• Hernandez opened the game in goal while 
Cassidy Henson finished the game by playing the second half
