TACOMA, WA - The Benedictine University women's basketball team was held to a season low point total in dropping the finale of the Pacific Northwest Tournament

• Pacific Lutheran slowed down the game
• Madisyn Fischer connected on a three-pointer with 5:12 remaining in the first quarter to put Benedictine ahead 3-2
• Georgia Alexakos followed with a layup to push the score to 5-2
• Benedictine scored just two points the rest of the frame as Pacific Lutheran closed on a 10-2 run to lead 12-7
• Pacific Lutheran scored the first five points of the second quarter to open a 17-7 advantage as part of a 10-0 run
• Still down double figures with just over two minutes left in the half, Alexakos opened a 7-0 run with a layup and added a three to draw Benedictine within 23-20
• The hosts scored the first six points of the third quarter to lead 31-20
• Bennita Drain opened the fourth with a layup to pull Benedictine within 35-29, but Pacific Lutheran scored the next 10 points to take a 16-point advantage
• The lead would reach 20 and Benedictine pulled no closer than 14 the rest of the way in seeing a seven-game win streak come to a close
• Benedictine shot a season low 30.2 percent, making just 16 field goals in the contest
• Alexakos was the only player to reach double figures, tallying 13
• D'Asia Williams finished with eight points
• Alexakos and
Alena Moro were named to the all-tournament team
• Moro finished with six points and eight rebounds as Benedictine finished -2 on the glass
