• Benedictine led for virtually the entire contest, but failed to hold a 27-point first half advantage

Brayden Olson made baskets out of the box to grab a 4-0 lead
• After a basket from Aurora,
Kenny Bogus deposited a three-pointer to open a 9-0 run, putting Benedictine ahead 13-2
• Kejuan Glosson drained a triple to open a 15-0 run as Benedictine led 28-4 less than nine minutes into the game
• The visitors held Benedictine to just five points in the final three minutes of the half, closing within 54-40 at the half
• Aurora used runs to slowly whittle the lead as a run of 7-0 pulled the visitors within eight and a 10-0 run tied the game at 61 with 11:41 left in the contest
• The only deficit of the game came at 66-65 with 7:59 remaining

• Aurora pulled no closer than the final margin the rest of the way
• Benedictine has won six in a row in the series and owns three consecutive wins following an 0-3 start
• Benedictine shot 59.5 percent in the first half and finished at 54.8 percent
• Benedictine also held a 41-29 edge on the glass, scoring 23 second-chance points
• Olson led four in double figures with 23 points, eight rebounds and five assists
• Grygo finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds before fouling out, his second consecutive double-double
• Soderholm also picked up a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds off the bench
• Zach Gorney tacked on 10 points
