LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team improved to 2-0 in conference play with a fourth straight victory, taking down Aurora at home.

• Allison Michalski converted on a pair of layups late in the second quarter to push the margin to 16
• Aurora scored the final 13 points of the half to pull within 36-33 at the half
• Benedictine surged in the third quarter, shooting 71.4 percent to lead by as many as 14
• Williams opened an 8-0 run at the beginning of the fourth to allow Benedictine to lead by 18, the largest edge of the game
• Benedictine converted 16 turnovers into 22 points
• For the game, Benedictine shot 50 percent, making nine treys and held a 31-30 edge on the glass
• Williams led all scorers with a career best 25 and five rebounds
• Michalski scored 10 off the bench with
Venita Parsons adding nine and
Georgia Alexakos eight
