MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Augsburg College scored the final four goals to thwart any attempt at a rally as the Benedictine University women's lacrosse team dropped a second straight conference game.

THE DETAILS
• Jasmine Moreno started the action by scoring just over a minute into the game
• The hosts scored the next two tallies before the teams traded goals with
Lexie Orr and
Madison Horan scoring to tie the game at 3-3
• Orr was able to bring Benedictine within a goal just after the halfway point of the first half at 5-4
• Down 8-5 in the closing minutes of the half, Orr scored again, opening a stretch of three straight Benedictine goals
• Horan and
Emma Redfern continued the run into the start of the second with Redfern tying the game at 8-8 with 26:12 left
• Benedictine had a chance to take the lead on a free position attempt but an attempt from Horan was blocked
• Augsburg scored three straight to gain control and notched the final four to pull away, handing Benedictine a second consecutive road conference defeat
