MEQUON, WI - The Benedictine University baseball team was eliminated from the NACC Tournament with a one-run loss to third-seeded Aurora University.

THE DETAILS
• In a wild contest, Aurora scored three unanswered runs to steal the win and advance
• Tanner Kiser nailed a first inning homer for the second consecutive contest to give Benedictine the lead with a two-run shot, his 11th of the year
• Aurora responded by tying the game with two in the bottom of the inning and notched a run in the second to take a 3-2 edge
• Nick Severino opened a two-run third with a single and Kiser followed with a walk
• A double steal placed runners at second and third before a passed ball tied the game and a groundout from Hotze put Benedictine ahead
• Benedictine stretched the lead to 5-3 with a sacrifice fly from 
Jimmy McLaughlin in the fifth before a two-run homer in the bottom of the inning tied the game
• Aurora took the lead with a single run in the sixth and held off an eighth inning surge that saw Benedictine strand two
STAT LEADERS
• Joe Palasiewicz started and allowed three runs in two innings before exiting
• Ivan Guzman worked 3.1 innings in relief and suffered the loss
• Benedictine managed just five hits, receiving two from Severino, but did draw eight walks
• Kiser walked twice and scored three times
• Hotze and 
Sam Kerr also drew two free passes
