LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University baseball team swept visiting Rockford University to secure a slot in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament.

• Benedictine logged double-digit hits in each contest and did not trail during either affair
• Benedictine scored seven unearned runs in the opener
• D.J. Dillon put Benedictine on the board in the second inning with a bases loaded infield single

• Ivan Guzman twirled six innings to earn his fourth win of the year, allowing just two unearned runs
• Guzman walked two and struck out five before
Ryan Renken finished out the win
• Rockford managed just three hits in the opener
• Dillon drove home three runs in the opener, finishing with two hits as Benedictine totaled 10
• Kiser, Kerr and Hotze also produced two hits while
Brandon Gipson drew three walks
• Hotze and Severino each logged three hits in the second game with Kiser collecting two along with a pair of walks
