BELOIT, WI - The Benedictine University women's soccer team finished the weekend of non-conference contests with an overtime loss at Beloit College.

Beloit 3, Benedictine 2 - OT
• Benedictine posted the first four shots of the match with four different individuals creating chances
• Two of the attempts were on goal
• Beloit was able to open a 1-0 lead by scoring in the 17th minute on a turn and shot in close
• Benedictine continued the first half chances, creating 14 shots but could not score
• Stephanie Nichols scored in the first minute of the second half to tie the game, blasting home a low angle shot

Sabie Ramirez put Benedictine ahead
• Ramirez put a high shot over a diving goalie for the lead
• Beloit closed with a fury and tied the contest in the 89th minute
• Holly Ward,
Cali Carl and
Abbie Graham all posted attempts in overtime, but Beloit poked home the winner in the 97th minute
• Four of the five losses this season have come by a single goal
• Benedictine held a 29-13 advantage in shots, putting 12 on goal
• Cassidy Henson stopped five shots in goal
• Benedictine also held a 7-3 lead in corner kicks
• Megan Anderson led Benedictine with five shots while Ward added four
