ELMHURST, IL - The Benedictine University women's soccer team dropped another one-goal decision at Elmhurst College on Wednesday.

Elmhurst 2, Benedictine 1
• Elmhurst jumped to a 2-0 lead and held on for the win
• A header on a free kick opened the scoring in the 12th minute
• A corner kick set up the second goal just over two minutes later in the 14th minute
• Holly Ward buried a free kick from 21 yards out for the only Benedictine goal in the 84th minute
• Benedictine could not put together an opportunity to attempt to tie the game
• Five of the six losses this season have come by a single tally
• Benedictine managed just one shot in the first half and was outshot 25-5 for the game
• Five different individuals posted shots
• Cassidy Henson posted one of the best games in goal in her career
• Henson was credited with 11 saves

Benedictine (0-6) hosts Carroll University on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
