LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss to visiting Carroll University in the final game before conference play begins.

• A bulk of the contest was played in the midfield with neither team creating chances
• Benedictine created the first two opportunities with
Taylor Pokorny and
Holly Ward missing
• Cassidy Henson stopped a Carroll attempt, but the visitors poked home the rebound for the only goal in the 28th minute
• Benedictine did not record a second half shot in suffering a sixth loss by a single goal
• Carroll held a 12-3 advantage in shots
• Henson stopped six shots in net
