Volleyball Falls at Aurora

Benedictine women's volleyball dropped a three-set match to the undefeated Aurora University Spartans on Tuesday night in Aurora, IL.

THE DETAILS
• The Eagles jumped out to a 5-0 lead on the serve of Hayley Primas in set one
• Benedictine led by as many as seven but allowed AU to go on a 6-2 run
• The Eagles had set point, 24-21, but the Aurora offense came alive, scoring three straight to tie it ta 24
• The Spartans would tally 13 kills and go on to win 27-25
• In set two, BenU could only muster five kills for a -.129 attack percentage, falling 25-10
• The Aurora offense collected 17 kills and hit .452 in set three for the 25-20 win
